We are still alive...

Today, Jewel the Bean turns five! She is so hilarious and sweet and tough,  just a joy.  (And all the other things that parents will say)  We wouldn't have her any other way!  We also got a new dog and started a new semester.  I have just four left (counting this one) before my degree and then I will be able to slow down and earn some income while I work toward the ole master's degree.  The dog is a pit and his name is Bodacious Bartholomew, aka Black Bart, aka Bodi.  He is adorable and fits right in with our family.  The kids have been hinting at homeschooling again and I wish we could, but perhaps after Jewel has had a chance to go to Kindergarten.  I don't know if I can make it happen, but I know I would give it my best if there was a possibility.  I feel like the path to my future is a labyrinth and I am faced with places where I don't know what the options will be until I get there.  Perhaps I should climb the wall and walk across the top? We are in the middle of the busy season for Dad, so things are pretty low key around here right now, but we do have some cool new toys from Christmas.  I have some pictures but haven't had a chance to post them because I have been reorganizing and spring cleaning and putting away holiday stuff and reading for philosophy and the usual studying (probability, wetlands).  I really see a point ahead where I might catch up with life, but it is bound to be short-lived.  I will give it my best though (maybe, if I find some time).
